Sophie is a fine art photographer working out of Berkeley, California. Her aim is to invoke yugen in her viewers, a japanese concept describing the stirrings we experience when we regard moving works of art. The artist is currently working on self-portraiture and staged ensembles in her studio in Berkeley, as well as creating abstract images using analogue and alternative photographic processes.
